Cleveland Dental Institute is proud to present this one day course designed for practitioners in all levels of experience with Orthodontic treatment.

Whether you want to “dabble” in minor tooth movement and space maintenance or just to have a better understanding of what your Orthodontist is doing diagnostically in the treatment of your patients – this course will lay a foundation for understanding the principles that guide treatment.

The focus is on “what went right with orthodontic treatment and what went wrong,” using both aligner systems and conventional banding techniques.

Dozens of case studies will illustrate topics including:  minor tooth movement; space maintenance; moving to complex orthodontic management and TMJ dysfunction therapy; cases with transverse problems and various means of expansion treatment.

Course Objectives

Participants will gain a broader understanding of:

Diagnosis, treatment planning and case classification

Principles of tooth movement

How and when to utilize space maintenance techniques

Pros and Cons of Aligner therapy vs conventional banding and wires
